With an eye to our infamous past, and a passion for building a new future, the Bearsville team has re-opened Albert Grossman’s much-loved restaurant – The Bear – with chef-inspired Farm-to-Table cuisine sourced locally in the Hudson Valley.
Albert created his restaurant in the 1980’s to wine and dine the world-famous musicians recording at his legendary Bearsville studio. His cuisine connected the artists to the beauty and bounty of the Catskills in an atmosphere of stylish celebration.
Today, Chef Josh Rajala is re-interpreting Albert’s philosophy, ready to provide outstanding cuisine delivered with warmth and hospitality, in the same spirit as Albert ‘The Bear’ himself.
